2nd Day in Mali

Hello All! Well, I made it! It was quite an interesting experience getting here though. We ended up having a flight cancelled, and did not arrive in Mali until late Sunday night. It is not Tuesday, May 29, 12:15pm. I am just about to eat lunch. The team and I went into the market place today, and all had separate shopping lists, that was quite interesting and fun: ) Anyway, I will write more later! Thank you for all your prayers!

Well...we will be leaving for Africa on Friday...which is in 3 days...my mom and I went shopping tonight, for a majority of the things that I will be needing for 6 months! I cannot believe just how quickly May 25th has come! I am so excited...and anticipate our flight over...I know that it will be long, but I cannot wait to spend time with my team : )

It's Coming!

10 Days! I can count the number of days left until I am Africa Bound on 2 hands...oh boy! It is coming and it is coming fast. I leave tomorrow for my roommate's wedding, which is on Thursday! Then I leave for Kentucky, with my mom and sister, on Friday, for my cousin's wedding. I will get back late Monday night, and then head to Omaha, on Thursday, and fly out on Friday! Crazy crazy crazy! :)
